Under Floor Heating
We offer underfloor heating installation services in Sonning Common, Henley on Thames, Wargrave, Caversham and the surrounding areas of Oxfordshire, Berkshire, and Buckinghamshire.
Tap Tight Plumbing & Heating Engineers specialise in multiple underfloor heating applications, converting existing timber or concrete floored properties to underfloor, or installing below screed in new builds. We have installed underfloor heating systems on many varied projects, and our trained and experienced engineers are happy to advise you on the best solution for your project.
What is a Wet Under Floor Heating System?
A Wet Under Floor Heating System distributes heat from your boiler directly through a manifold and into a series of pipes laid below your floor, it allows for the removal of traditional radiators on walls, and is a neat and modern alternative to traditional radiators. Normally installed in new builds where heat loss to the ground can be averted due to the installation of insulation, more options are becoming available to be able to retrofit under floor heating to most solid or timber joist floors.
What is an Electric Under Floor Heating System?
As the name suggests instead of laying a wet system of pipes connected to the boiler, electric cables are laid and they provide the heat output. A very nice solution for existing bathroom conversions and small tiled areas.
